C.A.P.S. (Community Activity Programs for Seniors) is a church-sponsored program that is run by volunteers to extend support and loving care to the senior adults in our community as well as those in our church.

 

Thursdays @ 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM in the Ministry Activity Center. (Not gathering Easter week, Thanksgiving week & Christmas week).

 

We offer a variety of activities such as Card Games, Bridge, Skip-Bo, 42 and 88 dominos, Bingo, Short Day Trips, Light Lunch, and Christian Fellowship.

 

Each Thursday morning coffee and sweet rolls are served.

 

Lunch is $5.00 if you would like to stay.Lunch tickets must be purchased by 10 AM the morning of.  This includes a light main course, dessert, and drink. If you feel that you can’t eat what is offered or if you are on a special diet, please feel free to bring a lunch and eat with us.

 

What about transportation to C.A.P.S.? Call 281-469-0730 (the church office) to see if you are on our bus route and request to be put on the schedule for transportation to and from the church. The bus leaves at 8:00 AM to pick up riders. The bus departs the church at 12:45 PM to return riders. There is no cost to ride the bus. The bus can take 11 riders only.
